Maharashtra has reported 14 new cases of coronavirus infections in the state. ( of those cases were reported from Mumbai, four from Sangli, one from Thane. The total number of cases in Maharashtra has crossed 100.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has asked 1,500 crore package to support West Bengal's government's efforts to tackle Covid-19 outbreak. She told media-persons, "We had made the same request at the all-party meeting two days back. The Centre should announce a special financial package for the state in the current situation."

PM asks citizens to exercise caution and follow social distancing. He advised people to not follow 'truths' that is convenient to oneself. He said this while speaking to a citizen from Varanasi who asked the PM to tell people that the belief that Indians' dietary choice will help prevent Covid-19 is false.
