On allocating funds for Covid-19 vaccines in Budget, the finance minister said the ministry needs to know more details of the vaccine, whichever gets the nod — the cost per dose, the requirement of doses etc.
In the second session Federico Marchetti, chairman and CEO of Yoox Net-a-Porter, an Italian online fashion retailer, spoke to Shereen Bhan, managing editor, CNBC TV-18 about the evolving face of fashion, online retail and 'entertailing' a term he coined to imply that online retail needs to incorporate entertainment as well.
In the third session, Hindustan Times' health and science editor Sanchita Sharma interviewed Dr David A Sinclair, co-director, Pail F Glenn Centre for Biology of Aging Research, Harvard Medical School, who gave out some handy tips to fight ageing.
This is the first time, the summit is being held virtually owing to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. And in tune with the situation, 'Defining a New Era' has been chosen this year's theme. From politics to sports, from medicine to education and food — the summit has seen a wide array of views coming from the experts of the respective fields on post-pandemic world.
