Maharashtra Police has put up a coronavirus-themed effigy near Shanti Nagar in Nagpur to spread awareness regarding precautionary measures to be taken amid Covid-19 outbreak. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the district stand at 72.

Nine people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Nagpur district today. The total number of positive cases in the district has gone up to 72, said District Information Office, Nagpur.

Haridwar and Nanital districts have been declared 'red zones' after the total number of coronavirus cases in Uttarakhand reaches 42. According to Yugal Kishor Pant, Additional Secretary (Health), 80% of the cases in the state are from Dehradun, Haridwar and Nainital districts.

Delhi has reported 1,893 coronavirus cases till date. Yesterday, 186 cases were reported. There are 42,000 rapid testing kits, and a trial run on testing is being done at LNJP hospital. The target is to do 42,000 tests in one week, said Delhi Health Minister, Satyendar Jain.

A 10-month-old baby who was brought by his father to the Emergency ward of Lady Hardinge hospital for respiratory ailments tested positive for Covid-19. The baby's father was also tested positive, and his mother’s test report is awaited. The pediatric ICU is now being sanitized, said a hospital official.
