The ministry of home affairs has issued an SOP on the movement of stranded labourers wherein it has issued an advisory where it has barred movement of the labour force between states, union territories.

"We have conducted 66,000 Covid-19 tests so far, 95% of these are negative. Around 3600 are positive, 300-350 of these have recovered and have been discharged. As many as 75% are either mildly symptomatic or asymptomatic, and 52 patients are in a serious condition. We are trying to save their lives," said Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray.
