Coronavirus cases in India rose to 16,116, according to the health ministry's website on Sunday. The death toll in the country stood at 519.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) had revised its guidelines to allow diagnosis tools in Covid-19 hotspots. Meanwhile, coronavirus cases worldwide have crossed 2.2 million. The USA has the highest number of cases, followed by Spain, Italy and France.
