With 48,405 recoveries in last 24 hours, India's total number of recoveries rise to 7,917,373 or 92.56% of total cases.

India's Covid-19 tally reaches 8,553,657 with 45,903 cases in last 24 hours. Death toll reaches 126,611 after 490 new fatalities. Active cases at 509,673.

Mexico's health ministry on Sunday reported 219 deaths due to Covid-19, taking death toll in the country due to the virus past 95,000 to 95,027. 5,887 new cases take total tally to 967,825.

France on Sunday recorded 38,619 new Covid-19 cases, taking its tally to 1,787,324. Death toll reaches 40,439 after 270 fresh fatalities.

UK's cumulative Covid-19 tally reaches 1,102,013 after it recorded 20,572 new cases on Sunday. Death toll rises to 49,044 after 156 new deaths.

India's cumulative positivity rate has decreased progressively in last three weeks, from 7.94% on October 21 to 7.23% on November 8.

The United States has become the first country to breach the 10 million Covid-19 case mark, according to a tally by news agency Reuters. The country has reported over 100,000 infections four times in the past seven days.

Karnataka recorded 2,740 new Covid-19 cases, 2,360 discharges and 22 deaths on Sunday. State tally reaches 846,887 including 801,799 discharges, 33,678 active cases and 11,391 deaths.

Assam recorded 152 new Covif-19 cases and 295 discharges on Sunday. Total cases rise to 208,789 including 201,331 discharges, 6,512 active cases and 943 deaths.
