Page 3 - Highlights: Maharashtra reports 4,153 new Covid-19 cases

India on Sunday logged 44,059 new Covid-19 cases and 511 deaths in last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry data. The nation’s tally now stands to over 9.13 million. The death toll has risen to 133,738.

Meanwhile, Delhi on Sunday Delhi recorded 6,746 fresh Covid-19 cases and a positivity rate of 12.29 per cent while 121 more fatalities pushed the death toll to 8,391, authorities said.

These fresh cases came out of the 54,893 tests conducted on Saturday, including 23,433 RT-PCR tests, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.

Globally, there are 58,961,247 cases and 1,393,176 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. Many countries in Europe are feeling the pinch of lockdowns again as infections keep rising across the continent.
