India has entered into day 10 of the fourth phase of lockdown which will end on May 31. So far the country has registered 151,767 cases and 4,337 deaths due to the novel Coronavirus.
In recent development, the Indian Council of Medical Research said it will review whether to continue the use of hydroxycholroquine to treat infected patients. Earlier, India had exported this drug to United States.
Delhi Police on Tuesday filed 20 charge sheets against 82 foreign nationals who were a part of the Tablighi Jamaat, a religious congregation which emerged as the biggest Covid hotspot in the country. The foreigners against whom the charge sheets have been filed are from 20 countries such as United States, China, Brazil. Today, Delhi Police will file 15 more charge sheets against 294 foreigners that were a part of the congreagtion.
On the global side, the number of confirmed cases surpassed 5.4 million as per the World Health Organization, while global death toll has crossed the 3,50,000 mark. United States continues to remain the worst affected nation followed by Brazil and Russia.

CISF unit guarding Mazgaon dock in Mumbai reports 13 Covid-19 cases
The Central Industrial Security Force reported 22 new cases of the novel coronavirus with the 13 cases coming from its unit that guards the warship building Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) in Mumbai. The MDL is one of the country's leading defence public sector undertaking shipyard that constructs warships and submarines, reports PTI.
Delhi records nearly 800 Covid-19 cases in past 24 hours
The national capital recorded 792 confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the state's tally too 15,527. So far 303 people have died and 7,264 people have recovered from the infection in Delhi, reports ANI.

South Korea witnesses biggest spike in seven weeks
South Korea reported its biggest jump in coronavirus infections in seven weeks. Officials said 40 new cases were reported today-taking the total 11,265- with most new infections from the densely populated Seoul metropolitan area, reports AFP.
