With five days left before Bihar goes into the first phase of voting, political parties across the spectrum have released their manifestos and are holding rallies with a view to come in power in the state for the next five years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday attacked the Rashtriya Janata Party as he said the state suffered during the 15-year rule of the RJD and sought people's vote for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), under the leadership of chief minister Nitish Kumar, to ensure their development. PM Modi held two rallies in Gaya and Dehri and also spoke at Bhagalpur during his public address ahead of the assembly polls.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who addressed two rallies at Hisua in Nawada and Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur targeted the Centre over coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, employment and Indo-China border standoff.
