With five days left before Bihar goes into the first phase of voting, political parties across the spectrum have released their manifestos and are holding rallies with a view to come in power in the state for the next five years.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday attacked the Rashtriya Janata Party as he said the state suffered during the 15-year rule of the RJD and sought people's vote for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), under the leadership of chief minister Nitish Kumar, to ensure their development. PM Modi held two rallies in Gaya and Dehri and also spoke at Bhagalpur during his public address ahead of the assembly polls.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who addressed two rallies at Hisua in Nawada and Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur targeted the Centre over coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, employment and Indo-China border standoff.

Amid the ongoing border tensions between India and China, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of Galwan clash in his rally. Gandhi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying that the Prime Minister still denied that there was no intrusion by the Chinese when 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred in Galwan.

Reiterating on the point of providing quality education in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Bhagalpur rally also said that the state is entitled to employment and entrepreneurship. He further questioned that who can ensure employment and entrepreneurship, those who provide government jobs as a means of earning bribe or those who are working to improve Bihar's Ease of Doing Business and Skill Mapping, reports ANI.
