The coronavirus pandemic, which has killed over 16,000 and infected more than 375,000 people worldwide, is forcing nations to impose tougher measures to curb the spread of Covid-19. PM Boris Johnson has placed a strict curfew in UK to enforce social distancing and banned gatherings of more than two people, allowing people to leave homes for only four specified reasons.

In India, many cities are under lockdown, domestic flights banned and incoming traffic has been stopped at 107 immigration check points. The number of positive cases is 519 and the death toll is at 10, as per the Health Ministry.
