India’s Covid-19 tally crossed the 100,000-mark on Tuesday as the country entered day two of the fourth phase of lockdown.
The ministry of health said that a total of 2,350 Covid-19 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries to close to 40,000.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation (WHO) agreed to launch an independent probe into how it managed the international response to the coronavirus, which has been clouded by finger-pointing between the US and China over a pandemic that has killed over 300,000 people.

UP government asks Congress to provide 500 buses on Noida / Ghaziabad border by 12 PM. The state government on Monday had asked the party to provide 1000 buses at Lucknow at 10 AM.

No buses are plying to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Uttarakhand from Delhi's Anand Vihar bus station, DCP East Jasmeet Singh was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

Nine dead in Bihar in road accident involving migrant workers
Nine labourers were killed in a road accident in Bihar's Naugachia in the early morning hours when the truck in which they were travelling collided with a coming from opposite direction. The bus, carrying migrant workers, was on way to Banka from Darbhangha. Five passengers in bus reportedly sustained injury in the accident.
But it is not clear yet if the nine who were travelling in the truck and died in the collision were also migrants. They all died as truck overturned and they were burried under iron pipes.

India's Covid-19 cases have crossed the one lakh-mark , according to the data published by Union health ministry on Tuesday morning. The total number of corona cases in the country now stand at 1,01, 139. This includes 58,802 active cases, 39,173 discharged patients and 3163 deaths from the disease.
