Fearing the second wave in the country, authorities in France have decided to enforce mask-wearing in enclosed public spaces including banks, shops and indoor markets from July 20, Health Minister Olivier Veran said on Saturday.

West Bengal recorded 2,198 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the state tally to 40,209 including 23,539 recoveries and 1,076 deaths. While 27 others lost their lives, state health department reported.
