Farm bill protest highlights: Rahul Gandhi likely to address farmers in Pehowa

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been allowed to enter Haryana by the state police who have barricaded the border to deny entry to protesting farmers.

Haryana cops said they can only allow Rahul Gandhi to come with 100 people and maintain Covid-19 SOPs.

Haryana police had set up border barricades at the Punjab-Haryana border. They are preventing agitating farmers to enter the state.

Rahul Gandhi who is addressing a rally in Sirsa took a dig at the Prime minister and said that he bought the recent Air India One, which is worth ₹8,000 crores, with taxpayer money. He was speaking to reference at criticism levelled at him for sitting on a 'cushion' while he was on the tractor.

After interaction with press in Patiala, Rahul Gandhi heads towards Haryana for his roadshow.

Rahul Gandhi began day 3 of his Kheti Bachao Yatra in Punjab. During the rally, Gandhi accused PM Modi government of existing structure of food security. He also called the latets farm reforms ab "attack on farmers"

As per his Rahul Gandhi's schedule, he will lead a roadshow at Pehowa after entering Haryana. He is scheduled to meet farmers around 3 pm.

Gandhi is also expected to lead a roadshow to Kurukshetra and hold another meeting at a mandi there.

Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee's 'rail roko' agitation in Amritsar against farm laws entered 13th day on Tuesday. The farmers have been staging sit-in on train tracks to protest against the farm reforms.
