The second day of the winter session of the Parliament saw heated exchanges between the Opposition and the Centre on removal of SPG cover of the Gandhis'.

Discussion will continue in the Lok Sabha on the Bill designed to further amend the Chit Funds Act, 1982, as finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will look to move the Bill. The second day of the winter session of the Parliament will see Union minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan move the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2019 along with the motion to further amend the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 in the Rajya Sabha. He will also seek to withdraw the National Commission for Human Resources for Health Bill, 2011 in the Upper House.
