Delhi CM Kejriwal said that a strong resolution must be taken to not let such incidents happen anymore. He also said the authorities and law enforcement should ensure to remove loopholes that existed in the justice system because of which the execution got delayed.

Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal said that there is still a need for creating a strong system. She also said that this is a victory for the entire nation.

The doctor in jail has confirmed Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Mukesh Singh and Pawan - who gang-raped and murdered a 23-year-old paramedical student - are dead. Their bodies were kept hanging for 30 minutes, said Tihar Jail's DG.
