"Tomorrow, at 11 am, members to take oath and at 5pm Pro-tem Speaker to hold Floor Test in Maharashtra Assembly. All 3 parties (Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena) are satisfied with the Supreme Court order. Devendra Fadnavis should resign today," said Congress' Prithviraj Chavan.

On SC's order that Floor Test be conducted in Maharashtra Assembly on November 27, NCP's Nawab Malik said, "Today's verdict of the SC is a milestone in Indian democracy. Before 5 pm tomorrow, it will be clear that BJP's game is over. In a few days, there will a govt of Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress in Maharashtra."

Devendra Fadnavis-led Maharashtra government's floor test tomorrow will be streamed live in the state assembly constituency.

Supreme Court has said that Devendra Fadnavis must face trust vote tomorrow by 5 pm.

Supreme Court's three-judge bench, headed by Justice NV Ramana and comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Ashok Bhushan, reading the pronouncement of the judgement on the petition jointly filed by NCP-Congress and Shiv Sena against formation of BJP-led government in Maharashtra.

SC's order on petition filed by NCP-Congress, Shiv Sena will be announced shortly.

"The Legislature Secretariat has received a letter claiming that Jayant Patil is the Legislative Party Leader for NCP. But, decision has to be taken by the Speaker. As of today, decision has not been taken," Rajendra Bhagwat, Maharashtra Legislature Secretary said.

The Supreme Court had heard the two sides - BJP and NCP-Cong, Shiv Sena - for a little over an hour and reserved its verdict for today.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar's nephew Ajit Pawar had who teamed up with BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis in an early morning swearing-in on Saturday.

The NCP strongman sought to assure his party’s lawmakers that they will not be disqualified if they ignore the whip to be issued by deputy CM Ajit Pawar.

“I assure you that you will not be disqualified and I take personal responsibility for the same. Ajit Pawar has acted against the party,” said Pawar.

Shiv Sena boss Uddhav Thackeray had dared the BJP to stop the three parties from assuming power. “Try blocking our road and you will come to know what we will do. You have seen Shiv Sena as an ally but not as your opponent,” he had warned.

Supreme Court will pass an order at 10:30 am today on the petition jointly filed by the NCP-Congress and Shiv Sena against the formation of BJP-led government in Maharashtra.
