Sena-NCP-Cong plea over Maharashtra governor’s move in SC today
A month to the day Maharashtra state results were announced, the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress political combine's petition challenging quashing of Devendra Fadnavis' swearing-in by governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari was heard by the Supreme Court on Sunday morning.
The court has ordered the Centre to produce the letter of invitation by Maharashtra Governor and letter of support submitted by BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis to the Governor by tomorrow morning.
The three parties, having sunk their political and ideological differences, have come up with Maha Vikas Aghadhi coalition and claim they have the "majority" with them. They have questioned governor Koshyari's "brazen act" inviting Devendra Fadnavis to take oath in a "hurried and makeshift" ceremony on Saturday.

BJP MP Sanjay Kakade met NCP Chief Sharad Pawar's at his residence in Mumbai on Sunday, reported news agency ANI.
He said that he "met Pawar for personal reasons", according to ANI.
Sena-NCP-Cong combine has support of 165 MLAs: Sanjay Raut
Shiv Sena has the support of 165 MLAs, claimed party leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday and said that the Sena-NCP-Congress combine can prove their majority in 10 minutes.
"If the governor calls for an identification parade, in 10 minutes we can prove our majority," he was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
5 NCP MLAs still missing, claim party leaders
By Saturday late evening, NCP claims eight of its MLAs, who went with Ajit Pawar, returned and are in contact with the party, while 12 others were yet to reach Mumbai. According to the party, five MLAs are still missing. Dhananjay Munde, leader of the Opposition in the council, was among those seem to have returned, NCP claimed.
Sena-NCP-Cong plea over Maharashtra governor’s move in SC today
At 11:30 on Sunday, the Supreme Court will hear a petition filed by Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress combine in Maharashtra against Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari's move to appoint BJP's Devendra Fadnavis and chief minister and NCP's Ajit Pawar as deputy CM in a "hurried and makeshift" ceremony.
