A month to the day Maharashtra state results were announced, the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress political combine's petition challenging quashing of Devendra Fadnavis' swearing-in by governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari was heard by the Supreme Court on Sunday morning.
The court has ordered the Centre to produce the letter of invitation by Maharashtra Governor and letter of support submitted by BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis to the Governor by tomorrow morning.
The three parties, having sunk their political and ideological differences, have come up with Maha Vikas Aghadhi coalition and claim they have the "majority" with them. They have questioned governor Koshyari's "brazen act" inviting Devendra Fadnavis to take oath in a "hurried and makeshift" ceremony on Saturday.

NCP leader Ajit Pawar in a series of tweets thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union home minister Amit Shah and other senior leaders of the BJP.
"Thank you Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. We will ensure a stable Government that will work hard for the welfare of the people of Maharashtra," Ajit Pawar said in one of the tweets.

Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya have left Renaissance hotel after meeting Sharad Pawar and NCP legislators. The meeting lasted for one and half hours. Sharad Pawar has also left Renaissance hotel.

Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray goes on a hotel run to meet MLAs
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray left his home, Matoshree, on Sunday afternoon to drop in on the legislators of his own party as well as those of the NCP and Congress tucked away in different hotels in Mumbai. Senior leaders have said the reason behind Uddhav Thackeray’s meetings with these members of legislative assembly (MLAs) was to display a united front.
