Covid-19 cases in Brazil have crossed 5.6 million mark after 22,294 cases on Thursday took the country's tally to 5,612,319. 630 deaths took the death toll to 161,736.

Australia's Covid-19 epicentre Victoria on Friday witnessed its seventh consecutive day of zero locally transmitted cases. New South Wales, meanwhile, logged four new local cases.
