Marking key developments in the case on Saturday, top officials of the Yogi Adityanath-led government have been rushed to meet the family members of 19-year-old Dalit woman who was allegedly gang-raped and assaulted by four men in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras village on September 14.

The district administration had clamped prohibitory orders in the village, restricting access of people to the victim's family members on Saturday.

In a second attempt, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have decided to go to Hathras on Saturday afternoon to meet the family of the 19-year-old victim who died earlier this week in Delhi.
