India has more than 33,600 cases of Covid-19 with Maharashtra being the worst-hit state with more than 10,400 cases. 1,070 people across the nation have succumbed to Covid-19, with 459 deaths being reported from Maharashtra.

Over three million cases have been registered across the globe and the United States continues to be the hardest hit and however has begun reopening the economy in phases. Taiwan and Hong Kong have reported zero cases of Covid-19 over the last five days. South Korea also reported zero cases of Covid-19 infections on Thursday.
