France's Orange says contact tracing app to be ready by May
Orange and Apple have discussed terms on how to develop France's phone app for tracing people who have Covid-19 or risk of Covid-19, said CEO Stephane Richard.

All health facilities should be functional, even non-Covid-19 facilities should be open, in order to serve patients suffering from other diseases.
Doubling rate of Covid-19 has now increased by 11-20 days: Govt
Health ministry joint secretary Lav Agarwal has said that several states have reported longer doubling rates. Covid-19 doubling rate in several states have now slowed by 20-25 days. Delhi, UP, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and J-K have doubling rate between 11 days to 20 days. Karnataka, Ladakh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Kerala had doubling rate between 20 and 40 days. Assam, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh had a doubling rate of over 40 days.

Iran virus death toll crosses 6,000
71 casualties were reported in 24 hours bringing the death toll to 6,028. "The number of deaths from this disease effectively crossed 6,000 today," said ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour.

Spain reported 268 cases of Covid-19. This is the lowest number of cases reported since March 20.

South Korea reports zero Covid-19 cases
South Korea has reported zero new domestic Covid-19 cases as of Thursday. The country has seen 10,765 cases since its first infection was reported on February 18. Hong Kong and Taiwan have had 5 days and 4 days of zero cases.
