PGIMER begins trial of new drug on Covid-19 patients
Dr R Vishwakarma, CSIR-IIM director, said trials of Sepsivac have begun on patients at PGIMER Chandigarh.

Punjab extends curfew for 2 more weeks
Punjab has extended the curfew in the state for 2 more weeks. Punjab CM told media persons via video that lockdown restrictions will be eased for 4 hours every week.

8 Meghalaya patients test negative for Covid-19
Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma tweeted that 16 contacts of the index patient have tested negative for Covid-19.
16 family members of the index patient were tested again, including the 8 who were positive. Their test results came in today and they have all tested negative. 8 positive cases will need to be tested again after 24 hours as per protocol to completely declare them as recovered.
