Rajasthan reported 54 new Covid-19 cases and one death from the disease, as of 9 am on Friday morning, according to the state health department data. With this, the total number of cases in the state is now 6,281, including 2,587 active cases and 152 deaths.

Delhi HC has further suspended the functioning of all subordinate and district courts in Delhi till May 31 in view of fourth phase of lockdown, reports ANI. Earlier, the HC had suspended the functioning of all subordinate court till 23rd May.

India on Friday recorded the highest one-day surge in Covid-19 cases with 6,088 infections being reported in past 24 hours. The country now has 1,18, 447 coronavirus cases overall, according to the health ministry data on Friday morning. This includes 66, 330 active cases, 48, 533 cured / discharged patients, and 3,583 deaths.
