States such as Bihar and Karnataka saw spikes in Covid-19 cases and deaths. Bihar health minister said that the state is increasing its testing capabilities and asked citizens not to panic. More than 90 people have died in Karnataka due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours.

HAL establishes 160-bed Covid-19 care centre in Bengaluru

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has prepared a 160-bed Covid-19 care centre at one of its facilities on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru. HAL through a statement said that it had converted its Ghatage Convention Centre into a Covid-19 care centre with the complete supporting infrastructure like washrooms, bathrooms, reports ANI.

2,250 new Covid-19 cases registered in UP in last 24 hours

Amit Mohan Prasad, the Principal Health Secretary of Uttar Pradesh said that 2,250 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and the active cases stand at 18,256. He also mentioned that total of 19,845 people have recovered from the disease and the death toll stands at 1,146, reports ANI.
