Italy reported eight deaths and 175 new cases as the nation fights back from the pandemic. South Korea and China report new cases as both these governments continue to control second-wave outbreaks. Globally the number of cases recorded has crossed a grim milestone of ten million.

The halted reopening of Washington forced Trump and Pence to cancel a reelection campaign event. People travelling to the state of Victoria will have to undergo Covid-19 test. The local govt made the new rule on Saturday.
Kerala suspends weekend lockdown
Kerala intended to observe a complete lockdown this Sunday, but that plan was suspended for night curfew.

UK has decided to lockdown the city of Leicester as cases surge in the city. The police of Leicester will ensure social distancing and adherence to rules.
Germany reports 256 new cases
The number of coronavirus cases in Germany rose to 193,499. RKI showed that the nation reported 256 new cases and 3 deaths.
Colombian with Covid-19 gives birth to non-infected child in coma
Diana Paola Angola gave birth to a child, prematurely by 14 weeks, in an induced coma. Diana had Covid-19 but the child is uninfected.
Nagaland designs BSL-2 lab
Nagaland seeks to boost its testing capacity with a newly built BSL-2 lab.

South Korea reports 62 new cases
Seoul's KCDC says that the nation reported 62 new Covid-19 cases. South Korea has recorded 12,715 cases and 282 deaths.
