There is no decline in global coronavirus cases with the US, Mexico, India and Brazil reporting a high number of cases. Russia saw a slight dip but daily reported cases continue to remain over 6,000. Italy reported eight deaths and 175 new cases as the nation fights back from the pandemic. South Korea and China report new cases as both these governments continue to control second-wave outbreaks. Globally the number of cases recorded has crossed a grim milestone of ten million.

The halted reopening of Washington forced Trump and Pence to cancel a reelection campaign event. Maharashtra CM says lockdown will not be lifted in the state
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said as the surge in cases and number of infections continue to surge the state shall not lift its lockdown on June 30. He further added that the number of relaxations will be gradually increased.

Iran's president Hassan Rouhani said that not wearing masks in public will welcome fines and will be a rule in Iran until June 22.

Russia reported 6,791 new coronavirus cases. New daily rise in Covid-19 cases have seen a downward trend.
Pakistan reports 4,072 new cases
Pakistan's Covid-19 tally crossed 2 lakh after the nation reported 4,072 fresh cases. 4,118 people have died so far in Pakistan.

Brazil’s Covid-19 tally crosses 1.3 million; death toll at 57,070
More than 38,000 people tested positive and 1,109 lost their lives due to the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, Brazil's health ministry said. The country has registered 1,313,667 cases and 57,070 deaths due to the infection, reports Reuters.
