A coronavirus patient from Assam has committed suicide in Maharashtra's Akola by slitting his throat.

In Haryana 2 people have died due to coronavirus. 74 of 163 cases are imported.

Punjab CM Capt. Amarinder Singh has asked PM Narendra Modi to extend the lockdown. He also appealed for extension of concessions to industries.

Bangladesh has increased its lockdown by 11 days. The new date of the lifting of lockdown in the southeast Asian nation is April 25.
