The total number of coronavirus cases in Turkey rose above 300,000 on Saturday, the health ministry said, as authorities struggle to contain a resurgence in the outbreak. Mainland China reported 14 new Covid-19 cases on September 18, down from 32 cases reported a day earlier, the Chinese national health authority said on Saturday.

All new cases were imported infections involving travellers from overseas.
