Highlights: South Africa says 12 million people ‘probably’ had Covid-19

"Priso-nurses" from across the Philippines gathered on video meeting platform Zoom to pray to be allowed to leave.

They prayed to be allowed to take up nursing jobs in countries where the coronavirus is killing thousands in hospitals and care homes. In recent months, these care workers have taken to calling themselves "priso-nurses."

Reuters has reported that Russia will supply India's Dr Reddy Labs with 100 million (ten crore) doses if its Sputnik-V Covid-19 vaccine, once the vaccine gets regulatory approval in India.
