Highlights: UK govt extends jobs support to Covid-19 affected firms

Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports have released new guidelines for swimmers and have said that equipment can only be used while wearing masks and gloves. It has also marked how waste products like used masks and gloves will be disposed and outlined other rules to ensure Covid-19 does not spread among athletes and swimmers.

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said that the Maharashtra Public Service Commission exams have been postponed. He said that students had also raised the issue of postponing the exam. Thackeray said a fresh date will be announced soon.
