As many as 2,546 fresh Covid-19 infections took Haryana's caseload to 1,90,323 on Wednesday, while 25 more fatalities pushed the state's death toll to 1,960, according to a health department bulletin. Of the latest fatalities, four each were reported from Fatehabad and Hisar, and three each from Karnal, Rohtak and Sirsa, among other districts, the daily bulletin said.

Spain will demand a negative PCR Covid-19 test 72 hours prior to their arrival to travelers coming from risk countries, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The risk level will be assessed following the criteria set in the related European Union recommendation issued on Oct. 13 for member states and countries Schengen-area countries, and according to the infection ratio in the last 14 days for other nations.

West Bengal on Wednesday reported the highest single-day recovery of 4,431 Covid-19 patients, taking the total number of cured people to 3,76,696, the health department said in a bulletin. The death toll rose to 7,452 after 49 more people succumbed to the disease.

Tamil Nadu on Wednesday logged more than 2,100 cases and 28 death. It pushed the tally to 7,50,409 and the toll to 11,415.

'Punjab reported 703 new Covid-19 cases, 460 discharged cases and 31 deaths, taking total positive cases to 1,39,184 till date, including 1,29,549 discharges, 5,246 active cases and 4,389 deaths,' informs the state health department.

Maharashtra reported 4,907 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Total caseload pushed to 17,31,833.

With 125 more patients succumbing to the viral infection, the cumulative toll mounted to 45,560, it said.

The Covid-19 tally in Andhra Pradesh rose to 8,47,977 on Wednesday with the addition of 1,732 fresh cases. Fourteen fresh fatalities took the toll to 6,828.

Kerala records 7,007 new Covid-19 cases, 7,252 recoveries and 29 deaths. Tally crosses five lakh mark to reach 502, 719 including 1,771 deaths.

Rajasthan reports 2,080 new Covid-19 cases, 11 deaths and 1,801 recoveries on Wednesday. Total cases rise to 217,151 including 198,131 recoveries, 16,993 active cases and 2,019 deaths.
