Highlights: Covid-19 cases in Rajasthan near 9,000-mark

A total of 40 new Coronavorus cases were reported in Jharkhand on Saturday, taking the total number of cases to 561, said State Health secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni. Of the 40 new cases, 26 were reported from East Singhbhum, 4 each from Hazaribag, Simdega, 2 each from Khunti and Garhwa and 1 each from Gumla and Garhwa, said Kulkarni, reports ANI.

With 252 new Covid-19 cases reported in Rajasthan on Saturday, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has risen to 8,617. According to the state Health Department, there are 2,685 active cases and 5,739 patients have recovered of which 5,079 patients have been discharged, reports ANI.
