Maharashtra records 2,091 new Covid-19 cases, 97 deaths
Maharashtra recorded 2,091 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the total to 54,758. It recorded 97 deaths, taking the total toll to 1, 792. This is the highest single-day fatalities toll.
Of the deaths on Tuesday, 39 are in Mumbai, 15 in Thane, 10 in Kalyan Dombivali, 8 in Pune, 7 in Solapur, 5 in Aurangabad, 5 in Mira Bhayandar, 3 each in Ulhasnagar and Malegaon and one each in Nagpur city and Ratnagiri.

Civil Aviation Minister shares info on air passengers
The civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that airports across the country had handled 41,673 passengers till 5 pm on Tuesday.
"Our airports have handled 325 departures & 283 arrivals with 41,673 passengers till 5pm on 26 May 2020, the 2nd day after recommencement of domestic flights. Final report for the day will be prepared after details come in at midnight," he said on Twitter.
Karnataka to open temples from June 1: State Minister
Karnataka government has decided to open temples from June 1, ANI quoted state minister Kota Srinivas Poojari as saying.
He said, "Standard Operating Protocol will be followed, which will be issued soon. We'll make necessary arrangements till May 31. Online seva booking will start from tomorrow in 52 temples."

No major side-effects of HCQ found in Indian studies
According to the ICMR, no major side-effects of HCQ has been found in studies in India. Its use should be continued as preventive treatment for Covid-19.
"We clearly advised HCQ should be taken with food, not on empty stomach. One ECG should be done during treatment," said ICMR DG
