Madras High Court orders closure of all state-run TASMAC liquor shops in Tamil Nadu, permits only online sale of liquor. There have been protests in the state against the state government's order to open standalone liquor shops amid Covid-19 lockdown.

Number of active Covid-19 cases have gone down in Uttarakhand: Govt
