Coronavirus continues to ravage global economies as infections across the globe continue to surge past 37 lakh. Though more than 12 lakh people have recovered, the recovery rate globally still remains 33%. US remains still the worst-affected country but the Trump administration is pushing the governors to reopen their states to restart the economy even as infections are surging.

India's recovery rate rose up to 29% as the amount of recovered cases tally crossed the 14,000-mark. India currently has recorded 49,391 cases of Covid-19 with 1,694 deaths.

Indonesia reported 367 new cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the total to 12,438, said health ministry official Achmad Yurianto.

The German federal government has reached an agreement with the state to restart some sporting fixtures and competitions like the Bundesliga and allow shops to conduct businesses.
Isuzu Motors can restart Andhra operations
Utility vehicler manufacturers Isuzu Motors told PTI that local authorities of the Andhra government have permitted them to restart operations at its plant in SriCity, Andhra Pradesh. "It will co-ordinate with all component manufacturers to serve both domestic and export customers," Isuzu Motors India added.
