Delhi CM Kejriwal has said that several private hospitals have been overcharging as well as denying Covid-19 patients the necessary care.

China reported 5 cases of Covid-19 of which 3 were asymptomatic, while Thailand reported two cases of Covid-19.

Germany's tally of Covid-19 cases reached 183,687 after it recorded 407 new cases in one day.

India has recorded 9,887 cases in last 24 hours. This is the second day in a row where India has recorded more than 9,500 cases.

In a bid to improve standards of global health, the G20 nations have pledged $21 billion towards the fight to eradicate Covid-19.

Johns Hopkins University tally says US recorded 922 deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. It remains the worst-affected by the pandemic.

Authorities in California have said that Live Sports and film productions can restart from June 12.

The health ministry in Brazil reported 1,005 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths in the South American nation has crossed 30,900.
