Highlights: Punjab reports 677 coronavirus cases, 19 deaths in last 24 hours

As many as 983 Covid-19 cases were detected in Telangana on Sunday, taking the total number to 67,660, including 48,609 recovered, 18,500 active cases, and 551 deaths, the state health department confirmed.

Information and technology minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has gone into self-isolation, as he had met Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday evening, PTI reported.

Germany confirmed 509 new Covid-19 cases on Monday. While seven new fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany now stands at 2,10,402. The country's total Covid-19 death toll is 9,148 while the total number of recoveries is 1,93,500, according to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute.

The Covid-19 outbreak spread to at least four factories in Vietnam after four cases were detected at the plants located at different industrial parks in Danang city, local media reported.
