India on Friday registered yet another single-day spike of over 77,266 Covid-19 cases and 1,057 deaths which have taken the tally to over 3.39 million. The total cases include 742,023 active cases, over 2.5 million discharges and 61,529 deaths. India may overtake Brazil sometime in the next two weeks if the cases continue to grow at the same pace.
