US President Trump uses Covid-19 to close down asylum system
The pandemic could not be more harrowing for thousands of Central and Latin Americans who were seeking asylum in US have been turned towards Mexico. When Trump talked about non-essential travel being suspended, he effectively closed down all borders and closed the decade-long immigration program.

UN chief warns of bio-terrorism amid coronavirus threat
UN chief Antonio Guterres told the United Nations Security Council that terrorist organisations can use this strain of Covid-19 to mount an attack on nations, fueling fears of bio-terrorism.

Death toll continues to surge in the US
US continues to record high death toll due to Covid-19. 1,783 people died in the last 24 hours according to John Hopkins tally. US had recorded 1,973 deaths on Thursday.

Haryana's Gurugram list of 9 containment zones is out
The 9 zones - Sector 9, Sector 54/Nirvana County, Palam Vihar, EP Gardens of Sector 83, Society Laburnum, Sector - 39, Fazilpur Village, Pataudi's Ward No. 11, Sohna's Raipur Village - will be sealed entirely. No one will be allowed to venture out of their homes.
