India have sealed the three-match series after winning the 3rd T20I by 30 runs.
'There's grass, but it doesn't look like the ones that bind the surface together. Overall, it's dry and crumby, says Murali Kartik
There is pressure on Dhawan
He has looked to get going, but has struggled to take off in both the matches so far and hence, there will be added scrutiny on the opener. Will India stick with him and Rohit at the top of the order?
Focus on Shivam Dube
Ahead of the third T20I, coach Ravi Shastri and captain Rohit Sharma spent extra time with young Shivam Dube as they were trying to hone his skills and explain his roles to him in no uncertain terms.
Rohit eyes a biggie
Indian captain needs just two sixes to join elite 400-sixes club in international cricket. So far, the only two players to cross the milestone are former Pakistan batsman Shahid Afridi (476 sixes) and West Indies international Chris Gayle (534 sixes).
Chahal on the cusp of a record
Yuzvendra Chahal needs four wickets to go past R Ashwin and become India's most prolific T20I bowler. Chahal currently has 49 in 33 games at an average of 20.89.
India's predicted XI
There are still a few worries for the Indian team and hence, the management could bring in few new faces for the final game.
Bangladesh sound confident
"I don't think we are ever going to be a West Indian or England type of batting line-up with guys who can get the ball out of the ground. Just physically we are not that type of team. Afif, Mosaddek and Liton are small boys, we all are trying to get the guys being smart. We are trying to use the pace, running hard between the wickets, getting gaps, picking up twos; six twos in an over is as good as two sixes. We are working on our other strengths" - Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo.
Rohit is willing to back young players
“You know there is a lot of talk happening about Rishabh Pant every day, every minute. I just feel that he needs to be allowed to do what he wants to do on the field. I would request everyone to keep their eyes away from Rishabh Pant for a while,” skipper Rohit said on the eve of the T20 series decider against Bangladesh.
Huge chance for Bangladesh
Bangladesh have a chance of registering their first ever T20I series win against India and that too in their own backyard.
India vs Ban 3rd T20I
Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the 3rd T20I between India and Bangladesh from Nagpur. It may come as a surprise to a few that the series has come down to the decider but Bangladesh would like to prove them wrong just like they did in the first T20I at New Delhi. India are still the favourites to bag the series though.
