Maharashtra Assembly poll results 2019: Winner list for Chembur, Kurla, Kalina, Vandre East, Vandre West, Dharavi

The results for Maharashtra assembly election will be declared today. On October 21, voting took place in Maharashtra’s 288 constituencies where the voter turnout was 61.3%.

Chembur – Chembur which is a Vidhan Sabha seat falls under the Mumbai-Thane region and is a part of the Mumbai South-Central Lok Sabha constituency. This year, 12 candidates contested from Chembur. In the previous 2014 Maharashtra Assembly election, Prakash Vaikunth Phaterpekar of SS won this seat against INC candidate Chandrakant Damodhar by a margin of 10027 votes.

Kurla – Kurla district falls under the Mumbai North-Central Lok Sabha constituency. This year a total of six candidates contested for this seat in the Maharashtra assembly election where the voter turnout was 44.84%. In the 2014 assembly election, Mangesh Kudalkar of the SHS won by a margin of 12679 votes by defeating BJP candidate Vijay Baburao Kamble.

Kalina - Kalina Assembly seat is a part of the Mumbai North-Central Lok Sabha constituency. Here, 14 candidates contested for the seat where the voter turnout was 49.84% with a total of 228 polling stations. The 2014 Maharashtra assembly election saw Sanjay Govind Potnis of the SHS win by a margin of 1297 votes. Potnis won against BJP candidate Singh Amarjeet Awadhnarayan.

Vandre East – Vandre East falls under the Mumbai North-Central Lok Sabha constituency. This year, a total of 13 candidates contested where the voter turnout was calculated to be 51.34%. In the 2014 assembly election, Prakash Sawant of the SHS by a margin of 15597 votes defeating PBJP candidate Krishna Dhondu Parkar.

Vandre West – Vandre West which falls under the Mumbai North-Central Lok Sabha constituency saw a voter turnout of 43.97%. This year, a total of four candidates contested for the Vandre West seat. In the 2014 Maharashtra assembly election, Av. Ashish Shelar of the BJP won by a margin of 26911 votes defeating INC candidate Baba Ziauddin Siddique.

Dharavi – Dharavi assembly seat falls under the Mumbai South-Central Lok Sabha constituency. Here, a total of 11 candidates contested in this year’s assembly election and the voter turnout was 47.55%. In the last assembly election, Gaikwad Varsha Eknath of INC defeated SHS candidate Baburao Mane by a margin of 15328 votes.
