Maharashtra assembly election results will be declared today, on October 24. The counting has begun at 8 am today.


The notification was released on September 27. The nomination process concluded on October 4. Voting was done on October 21 in single phase.


BOISAR- Boisar constituency comes under Palghar district. Its constituency number is 131. It has a total number of 310630 electors including 142142 female and 168463 male voters. There are 25 third gender voters. The constituency has four reserved seats for schedule tribes.

In the year 2014, the sitting MLA had won this seat against Kamalakar Anya Dalavi of SHS with 51,677 votes. In the 2019 elections, Shiv Sena is fielding Tare Vilas Sukur from this constituency.


NALASOPARA-- Nalsopara constituency comes under Palghar district. Its constituency number is 132. There are a total number of 512293 including 229863 female and 282372 male voters and 58 third gender voters.

In 2014, Kshitiji Hitendra Thakur of BVA (Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi) won in this constituency with 1,13,566 votes against BJP candidate Rajan Balkrishna Naik who bagged 59,067 votes. In 2019, Shiv Sena will be fielding Pradeep Sharma against Salman Baluch of Bahujan Samaj Party.


133- VASAI-- Vasai constituency comes under Palghar district. It has 302046 voters including 146355 and 155681 , female and male voters, respectively. There are 10 third gender voters.


BHIWANDI RURAL--- Bhiwandi rural constituency comes under Thane district. There are a total of 2,85,204 voters including 1,36,080 female and 1,49,116 male voters and eight third gender voters. In 2014, Shantaram Tukaram More of Shiv Sena won this seat with 57,082 votes.


SHAHPUR- Shahpur comes under Thane district and under Bhiwandi parliamentary constituency. This year there were a total of 248743 voters including 130810 male and 117933 female voters. In the year 2014, Barora Pandurang Mahadu of NCP won this seat by defeating the Shiv Sena candidate by 5544 votes.


BHIWANDI WEST--- Bhiwandi West comes under Thane district under Bhiwandi parliamentary constituency.There are a total 272722 voters including 109188 female and 163464 male voters and 70 third gender voters.
