In the run up to Bihar assembly elections, which will be held in three phases starting from October 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday address public gatherings.
The Prime Minister will pitch for chief minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) led-National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the state. Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) was also part of the alliance but has decided to fight alone this time.
On Wednesday night, the LJP president said, "This is the first election when my father is not with me. I am alone but I will try my best to live up to your expectations."

Meanwhile, Union minister and BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan expressed confidence that the NDA will get two-thirds majority in the upcoming polls. "NDA is moving towards a big victory in Bihar. Many estimates have also come and my information says that NDA will emerge victorious," he told ANI.
The second and third phase of voting in the state will be conducted on November 3 and November and results of the polls to the 243-seat assembly will be declared on November 10.
