In a week from now, Bihar goes to polls in three phases starting October 28. Voting in the second and third phase of assembly elections will be held on November 3 and November 7 while the results will be declared on November 10.

As the poll date approaches, political parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), chief minister Nitish Kumar Janata Dal (United), Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) have kicked off their campaigns.
On Wednesday, chief minister Nitish Kumar is scheduled to hold rallies in Kesaria, East Champaran, Marhaura, Saran, Parsa, Saran and Vaisali while Mahagathbandhan;s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Prasad Yadav will address public events at Dinara, Rohtas, Karghar, Rohtas, Akorigola, Rohtas , Obra, Aurangabad,Arwal, Ghosi,Jehanabad and Masaurhi.
BJP chief JP Nadda and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi will lead the NDA’s poll campaign in Bihar.
